Found this ring on sale at Indiska, and inmediately thought that it would make a gorgeous brooch. I asked my husband if it would be possible to transform it into one, and he said that it would be very easy. I'm very happy! I'm gonna have a gorgeous brooch for less than 30 kr!

Sisters Blouse in Broderie Anglaise

Something tells me that this cute blouse from Sisters in broderie anglaise (499 kr) was inspired by the Louis Vuitton S/S 2012 RTW collection. Great news for a budget fashionista like me! :)

I would really like to try the Kate Moss' Lipstick collection for Rimmel London, that she's designed to celebrate their 10-year partnership anniversary. Need to go to the city to try them, they are not widely available in Sweden.

I don't wear lipstick every day, but this is too tempting! Have to have!

Nice details. No need to add jewellery to this top. Still 599 kr is too much. Might have to wait for the summer sales!

MQ Blouses

I got a gift card for Xmas, and I had been trying to use it without success, until today. I went to the shopping mall determined to FIND SOMETHING. And I did! I found two lovely blouses at MQ (More Quality, a Norwegian retailer). They were on sale so I got them for half the price ( 250 kr each). I'm more than happy with both of them! (I got the blouse with the ribbon in white, sorry I could not find any pics on the net).

H&M Spring

I know. I posted this bag in brown last August. But they have produced it in black leather now and I cannot help but dreaming of it. Someday I will afford it. Right now it costs 3,900 kr at net-a-porter.com. Maybe if I cross my fingers they put it on sale soon.

The Fashion Book

Haven't allowed myself to purchase this book yet. Don't know why. The good news is that I've decided to get it before the year is over. I have more than 11 months ahead to do it! I'm sure I will wake up on morning and simply order it. It costs something like 400 kr.

Oscar Heyman & Brothers

Last week I dreamt with a pensé (pansy) brooch, all shiny and beautiful like the flower, but eternal like a jewel. I have been obsessed about pansies ever since the Givenchy's A/W 2011 collection.

This pair of earrings from Heyman & Brothers is a dream, too. Not only for its beauty but also for its price : US 20,000 dollars estimate!

Erdem blouse

Ok, this blouse is from the Erdem pre-fall 2012 collection ,but who says I could not start to wear it right now? It would cheer up my all-black fall-winter outfits with the orange flowers.

Mulberry

One of my favorite models, Frida Gustavsson (Swedish), fronts the Mulberry S/S 2012 campaign. Lovely again! Last season's campaing featured another of my fave models, Tati Cotliar (Argentinian). Mulberry always gets it right! :)

Miu Miu or Topshop?

These Miu Miu shoes cost something like 4,000 kr, and the Topshop ones cost around 1,000 kr. I like Miu Miu shoes because they are playful and edgy, but in this case I would buy the Topshop ones. The black suede makes them a lot more "usable". Also, I prefer closed shoes to open ones in Sweden. Mind the constant Nordic rain! ;)

I WANT!

This is a chance of a lifetime (well, almost) to get a Jason Wu piece without having to take a bank loan. I really like Jason Wu, he designs clothes that are both stylish and ladylike. I also like his colour palette and how he combines them. He is modern and yet tastefull.

I guess I should add a trip to the Big Apple on my wishlist, because the collection will only be available in The USA. Ahhh!

I like all four outfits on the picture. If I bought anything I would go for the trench coat, the rose blouse, and the mustard-and-black dress. I will try to copy the colour/pattern combinations to reproduce the looks with the clothes I already own.

Chanel S/S 2012 RTW

Christmas and the New Year's parties over, everybody has started to update their wardrobes and prepare for the spring. That is great news!

There are two big trends for the S/S 2012 season: 1) Sporty + bright colours, and 2) Girly + pastels+ white.

Since I am not the sporty kind of girl (I should take up something, as a matter of fact), I'd like to go for the second big trend, that of Luis Vuitton, Prada, and Chanel. What are you going for?

Ellos Lace Skirt

I'm already thinking of spring and summer, and this skirt would be a lovely option to go out to the city under the wonderful Swedish summer weather (If you are planning to visit Sweden, the best time of the year is summer! It's sunny and warm and never too hot).

Back to the skirt, I would wear it with my blue denim jacket and a white tee. Simple and sweet. The skirt costs 299 kr at Ellos.se

Maison Lancôme

This powder blusher from Lancome is not only make up, but also a little work of art! I would not use it because I would not want to destroy the lovely Parisian postcard. The image depicts the original boutique at 29 St. Honoré in Paris. It costs 495 kr.

Lela Rose

Lela Rose is another designer to have in mind when all we want is to feel feminine! This dress belongs to her S/S 2012 RTW collection.

I don't show my shoulders so I would add some nice short sleeves to this dress and prepare myself to receive many compliments! :D

Covers: The Style.Com Magazine

This is my piece of advice after having spent 100 kr on my Style.com magazine: Don't buy it! I ordered as a Christmas gift to myself (haha!) some time ago and I have only read it once and reluctantly. There is much to criticize. Perhaps I had great expectations and they were not met but honestly...who wants to pay for a magazine that only reproduces what you find on its website or Vogue.com? I do not buy magazines to get a Top 10 of the same items I have seen a hundred times before...AND the size is TOO big. Don't even think of taking the magazine on the train or bus to read on the way to work/school. You will look ridiculous...

So, is there anything good about it? Yes, there is, but not much for me. I liked the maps of the different fashion capitals of the world, the interview with Azzedine Alaia, and the campaigns (I always fall in love with the campaigns!)

Céline Resort 2012

I'm a huge admirer of Phoebe Philo, despite her clothes not being always the best option for a curvaceous woman like me. However, I am a little disappointed with the Céline Resort collection this time. I only liked two outfits out of 27. Here they are.
